What’s a Rich Text element?
PEJ Feeding
This feeding procedure is similar to PEG, except that the feeding tube goes directly to the patients small intestine rather than the stomach. Wahat Al Aman provides care, monitors the condition, and administers feeding of PEJ patients.
Benefits:
- Meeting the complete nutritional needs of a patient (regardless of digestive system disorders), which helps promote recovery and/or overall wellness
- Professional care reduces risks or complications such as infections, accidental tube dislodgement or aspiration, bleeding and perforation, and leakage
Inclusions:
- Periodic PEJ feeding (as prescribed)
- Regular cleaning of PEJ feeding tube, the incision/wound, and the surrounding area
- Regular visits from the multidisciplinary team, including the attending physician and nurse supervisor
- Periodic blood tests
Supporting Services:
- Medication management ensures adequate stocking and facilitating collection of medical supplies where authorized
- Back-up equipment for our most frequently-used equipment
- Appointment booking guarantees timely bookings of appointments and other arrangements such as collections of reports
PEG Feeding
PEG Feeding allows patients who are unable to eat normally to receive nutrition directly through the stomach. A surgical procedure places the feeding tube in the stomach, after which periodic PEG feeding can be done, as prescribed by the attending physician or nutritionist.
Our team provides care, monitors the condition, and administers feeding of PEG patients.

While the entry is similar to that of NGT, the feeding tube this time extends to the small intestine. Professional home healthcare from Wahat Al Aman covers periodic feeding as prescribed by the doctor, as well as constant monitoring of the patients condition.

Often used for children who are unable to swallow food, NGT Feeding ensures that the patients nutritional requirements are still met despite being unable to eat normally. Beyond feeding, our team also monitors the patients condition and provides overall care.

TPN supplies all daily nutritional requirements via intravenous therapy for a patient whose digestive system is compromised by a gastrointestinal disorder. When administered at home, TPN helps patients resume their normal lifestyle and activities even while recovering from illness.

- TPN administration
- Regular visits from the multidisciplinary team, including the attending physician and nurse supervisor
