Oral / Nasal / Tracheal Suctioning
Excess secretions, especially among children, can cause difficulty in breathing or swallowing, which could have adverse effects on their health in the long term. Suctioning helps clear the airways of secretions like mucus or saliva.

Mechanical Ventilator Support
We help our patients retain as much normalcy as possible while receiving ventilator support and other supportive medical treatments right at home.
Our team provides care, monitors the condition, administers medication, and feeds ventilator-dependent patients. Regular visits made by our physician and respiratory therapists ensure that the patient is stable and does not require any escalation of care.

Similar to BiPAP Support, our Oxygen Support is recommended for patients suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), obstructive sleep apnea, pneumonia, or asthma, as well as other conditions such as bronchopulmonary dysplasia, heart failure, cystic fibrosis, lung disease, or trauma to the respiratory system.

- Normalize the blood oxygen levels, which could decrease shortness of breath and help patients become more active

BiPAP Support
For patients suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), obstructive sleep apnea, obesity hyperventilation syndrome, pneumonia, asthma, or other conditions that impair breathing, our BiPAP Support helps them breathe easier and better.
Our respiratory therapist will calibrate the BiPAP machine to suit your specific needs.

- Correct calibration and usage of the BiPAP ventilator for optimal benefit

Tracheostomy Care
Our Respiratory Therapists, who serve as the main clinicians, ensure that our patients get the complete post-surgery care they need following a tracheostomy – not only to help with recovery, but also to ensure their safety throughout the process.

- Ensures patient safety and stability following a tracheostomy
- Increases family and community integration and social interactions, which enhance the patient’s quality of life
- Reduced exposure to hospital-borne infections, including MRSA/MDRO
Inclusions:
- Total clinical tracheostomy care from our Respiratory Therapists
- Providing all emergency supplies and equipment at the patient’s bedside
- Minimizing bronchial secretions by suctioning, chest clearance exercises and breathing techniques, and respiratory muscle strength training
- Periodic cleaning of the suction catheter to avoid infections
- Preventing skin breakdown through appropriate humidification, cuff management, and maintaining the skin surrounding the tracheostomy
- Changing of the tracheostomy tube and inner cannula (as needed)
- Following up on the hospital treating team’s order for patients evaluated for speaking valves (in conjunction with a speech-language pathologist, particularly for patients on a Mechanical Ventilator)
